Police dog 'Kori' uncovered a 'Taurus' pistol hidden in a bush during a search in Shfaram, after insisting on continuing the search as forces were about to finish. The search took place last week as part of an operation to locate illegal weapons. During the searches, ammunition was also found. A suspect who was arrested was released under restrictive conditions. The seizure joins a series of enforcement operations across the Galilee, in which weapons, ammunition and drugs were seized. Among other things, Glock pistols were located in Sakhnin and Deir Hanna, an explosive device in Araba, and a substance suspected to be hashish in Kfar Manda. Fifteen illegal cameras installed in violation of the law were removed. According to the police, since the beginning of the year, more than 700 weapons have been seized in the northern district.
