LinkedIn is launching the LinkedIn Hiring Assistant 2 (LIHA 2), a new generation of AI-based recruitment agent that will begin rolling out in November to customers using the product in English. The agent finds candidates, evaluates their suitability for jobs, and recommends whom recruiters should contact. According to LinkedIn data, recruiters using the agent review 83% fewer profiles to find suitable candidates and identify interview-ready candidates 33% faster. The likelihood of contacting a candidate identified by the agent is four times higher compared to traditional sourcing methods. The key innovation is that the agent learns from recruiter feedback and organizational preferences. More than 20,000 companies worldwide already use LinkedIn's agent-based recruitment solutions, including AMD, Cisco, and Palo Alto Networks. The article offers tips from experts at MAIA Digital, LinkedIn's first and only official partner in Israel, on how candidates can improve their profiles to stand out to AI: updating the headline with relevant keywords, detailing experience and achievements, posting content and comments, connecting external accounts like GitHub, and focusing on building quality connections. Additionally, LinkedIn is working to reduce generic AI-generated content (AI Slop) and reported a 40% reduction in views of content classified as such.
