Amid the formation of a new government in Israel, the Palestinians are advancing a series of anti-Israel resolutions at the UN. The resolutions include non-recognition of Israel's presence in Judea and Samaria, condemnation of the construction plan in the E1 area, and a call for 'distinction' between the territories and Israel. The European Union has not reached an agreement on supporting the resolutions, but the Palestinians are expected to continue the move even without broad European support. Israel's UN Ambassador, Danny Danon, is working to soften the wording: 'They are trying to exploit the situation to challenge us on the UN stage.'
