The officers operated as undercover agents and purchased heroin and cocaine from various dealers, while gathering evidence linking them to dozens of drug transactions. The operation focused on drug sale hotspots in the southern part of the city, which according to police are used by criminal elements and serve as generators of crime in the area. Upon transitioning to the overt phase, eight suspects, including five women, were arrested and transferred for questioning. Today, with the completion of the investigation, indictments were filed against them for large-scale drug trafficking, along with requests for detention until the end of proceedings. The investigation revealed that the defendants sold drugs to various customers, including foreign nationals residing in south Tel Aviv.
