The ban, set to take effect on September 22, applies to goods produced in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights. Israel's first response has already been implemented: Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, with the approval of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, ordered the cessation of Dutch representatives' participation in the international coordination center in Kiryat Gat, which deals with Gaza Strip affairs. The Netherlands clarified that diplomats can continue working in other positions, but access to the center is closed for them. According to Maariv, additional measures are being considered, but their nature has not yet been disclosed. Israel has previously applied a similar mechanism against Spain. The main risk for Israel is not direct economic damage, but the possibility of similar national measures emerging in other European countries. Amid the conflict, a demonstration in support of Israel is being prepared in Amsterdam, along with a declared pro-Palestinian counter-demonstration.
