The committee's general council held its meeting last Saturday in the city of Sakhnin, addressing the upcoming parliamentary elections and the political, social and economic challenges facing Arab society, and the role of political leaders and local authorities at this stage. The committee stressed that the current stage requires a responsible stance and a unifying discourse, prioritizing the public interest away from partisan disputes and political polarization. It called for adopting the following positions and orientations: political participation and strengthening Arab representation, and the importance of exercising the democratic right to vote and to influence the future of Arab society.
