An initiative first revealed on the C14 website is becoming one of the largest hasbara and settlement projects in Judea and Samaria: over 40,000 hikers have so far participated in tours of agricultural farms established by Finance Minister and Minister in the Defense Ministry Bezalel Smotrich. The project began as a quiet initiative by Minister Smotrich together with regional councils in Judea and Samaria and settlement bodies, aiming to connect the Israeli public to the new agricultural farms established in the last two years. According to data received, the project has been running for four consecutive days and will continue tomorrow, and since its inception hundreds of organized tours have been held, involving families, youth groups, pre-military preparatory programs, workers' organizations, and residents' committees from across the country. The tours include meetings with farming families, tours of open areas saved from illegal takeover, and a review of the settlement revolution. Sources close to the minister say the goal is to bring the Israeli public back to Area C and strengthen the farms economically and ideologically. The project is mostly funded by the Religious Zionism party budget, as part of the overall policy of expanding settlement and curbing illegal Arab takeover of open areas.
