The Palestinian Federation of Industries (PFI) announced the opening of registration for male and female workers, including those who lost their jobs due to the war in Gaza, to apply for temporary employment opportunities for three months in active facilities and factories, as part of a project funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development.
The Palestinian Federation of Industries (PFI) announced the opening of registration for male and female workers and those who stopped working due to the war in the Gaza Strip, to apply for temporary employment opportunities for three months in active facilities and factories. The job opportunities come within the project "Employment for Recovery: Enhancing the Recovery of the Industrial Sector and Providing Job Opportunities for Vulnerable Worker Groups," funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, and under the supervision of the Cooperation Foundation. Acceptance conditions include that the applicant's age be between 18 and 55 years, that they be the breadwinner of a family, in addition to matching the current place of residence or displacement with the location of the host factory. It is also required that the applicant has not benefited from a temporary employment opportunity in the past six months, and that no other first-degree family member is currently benefiting from the project. The applicant must also be physically able to perform production tasks safely, with a quota allocated for people with disabilities who are able to work. The Federation called on workers who meet all conditions to fill out the electronic registration application accurately via the designated link. Applications will be accepted until October 5, 2026.
