Volunteers of the Border Police arrested a tow truck driver on suspicion of stealing three vehicles from central Israel and smuggling them to Judea and Samaria. The driver hesitated at a traffic light on Highway 444, arousing their suspicion. An inspection revealed the vehicles were stolen from Rishon LeZion and Rehovot. The suspect was arrested and the vehicles were returned to their owners.

Volunteers of the Border Police's Settlement Division in central Israel arrested a tow truck driver, a resident of Jerusalem, on suspicion of stealing three vehicles from central Israel and smuggling them to the areas of Judea and Samaria. The arrest took place during an operational activity on Highway 444, when forces noticed a tow truck carrying two vehicles and a motorcycle heading towards the Rantis crossing. The truck driver noticed the force and began behaving suspiciously, hesitating to turn towards the crossing for several traffic light cycles while holding up traffic. Due to his unusual behavior, the volunteers decided to stop the truck for inspection. During the investigation, the suspect claimed he had collected the vehicles from Rishon LeZion and Rehovot as part of his routine work. Following the suspicion, the volunteers contacted the vehicle owners, who were surprised to discover their vehicles had been taken without their knowledge. The suspect was arrested and transferred along with the truck and vehicles to the Rosh HaAyin police station for further investigation, and the stolen property was later returned to its owners.
