The decision was made after the ministerial committee for Shin Bet affairs authorized Zini to decide on the matter several weeks ago. In the coming days, the exact security framework will be formulated. In contrast, regarding Yair Golan, chairman of the Democrats party, no similar decision has been made yet, and the issue is under discussion within the organization due to threats against him. Last week, it was reported that the Democrats party informed Zini that if he does not order Golan's security by today, the party will petition the High Court of Justice. The threat level for both stands at grade 4 out of 6. Threats against Golan have increased significantly in recent months, especially since Sara Netanyahu's interview in which she raised the possibility that he had prior knowledge of the events of October 7.
