While other warned parties requested to summon Netanyahu himself to testify, Netanyahu did not provide a list at all. The commission, established during the Bennett-Lapid government, is investigating the decision-making processes regarding submarines and naval vessels between 2009 and 2016. In an interim decision from 2024, the commission determined that Netanyahu's conduct led to a deep disruption of work processes and harmed state security. Hearings are expected to take place in November and December 2026.
