In Petah Tikva, a chase by a municipal security patrol vehicle after a teenager riding a scooter was documented, which almost ended in disaster. On social networks, it was claimed that the vehicle hit the teenager and seriously injured him, but the security personnel deny this and claim that only the scooter was damaged and the teenager fled on foot. The minor was part of a group of youths who habitually cause disturbances in the city and provoke security personnel. The police clarified that those involved are not police officers and the vehicle is not a police car, and opened an investigation. The incident raises questions about the management of chases after minors on scooters.
