A 30-year-old man was shot today (Saturday) in the town of Ar'ara in the Wadi Ara area and evacuated in serious condition to Hillel Yaffe Hospital with a penetrating injury. Officers from the Iron station opened an investigation upon receiving the report, and large police forces arrived at the scene, beginning searches and collecting evidence. An initial investigation indicates that the background to the incident is apparently criminal, and its circumstances are still under examination.
