"The body was not found in its entirety": Palestinian suspected of murder and dismemberment of Tamara in Acre
Palestinian police arrested a resident of Nablus on suspicion of murdering and dismembering his 21-year-old fiancée in Acre. The suspect fled to the Palestinian territories, where he surrendered to authorities. Medics reported that the body was not found in its entirety.
On October 30, Palestinian police arrested Saif Skaf al-Hit, a resident of Nablus, on suspicion of murdering his 21-year-old fiancée, Tamara Amran, the day before in Acre. According to the investigation, the suspect used a saw to dismember the girl's body. Amran, also a native of Nablus, worked in restaurants in the Acre area. After the murder, the perpetrator fled to the Palestinian territories, where he called the police and confessed. Authorities are currently investigating the possibility of an accomplice. Acquaintances of the victim said she had previously received death threats, and financial disputes may have been the motive. Medical workers described the crime scene as exceptionally gruesome: some body parts were missing, so the body was not delivered intact to the Institute of Forensic Medicine.
