Symphonic Series in Herzliya: Shostakovich, Mussorgsky, and Kalinnikov

The Haifa Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Amos Talmon, will present a concert of the Grand Symphonic Series at the Herzliya Performing Arts Center on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 8:00 PM. The program includes Mussorgsky's "Dawn on the Moscow River," Shostakovich's Second Piano Concerto, and Kalinnikov's First Symphony. The soloist is pianist Dorel Golan, who has performed in over 40 countries. Talmon notes that he aims to combine familiar works with lesser-known ones to diversify the repertoire. The concert replaces a performance postponed due to the war, originally scheduled for March 23, 2026.
