The exposure of data on Qatari aid transfers worth over $100 million to the Gaza Strip since October 7 has sparked a political storm. Knesset members from Yisrael Beiteinu and Amcha Israel harshly criticized the Prime Minister.

The exposure of data on continued Qatari involvement in the Gaza Strip, published in Israel Hayom, has sparked a political storm. According to the data, over $100 million, 30 million liters of fuel, tens of thousands of meals, tents, and winter equipment have been transferred to the Strip since October 7, 2023. Opposition figures harshly attacked the government's approval of the aid transfer. Chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu faction, MK Oded Forer, demanded explanations from the Prime Minister on the continued flow of funds. MK Yulia Malinovsky called Netanyahu "the father of the concept" and claimed that together with Ben Gvir and Smotrich he continues the path that led to the massacre. The "Amcha Israel" party led by Ofer Winter stated that the publication proves the concept still exists, and called for Winter to be appointed Defense Minister. The article notes that the money indirectly leaked to Hamas by relieving it of concern for civilian needs.
