"Soviet education": The excuse of the caregivers for abuse at the Ariel daycare

A prosecutor's statement was filed against three daycare workers in Ariel suspected of physical and psychological abuse of toddlers. Security cameras revealed over 600 violent incidents against more than ten toddlers. The suspects claimed their actions were part of 'Soviet education'.

A prosecutor's statement was filed today (Wednesday) in court against three employees of the 'Gan Lutzik' daycare in Ariel, ahead of a serious indictment for physical and psychological abuse of minors and helpless individuals. An investigation of security camera footage revealed over 600 documented violent incidents against more than ten toddlers, including helpless infants. The affair came to light after an animal club instructor reported a caregiver locking an infant in a dark room. The suspects attempted to justify their actions by claiming it was 'Soviet education'. The daycare was closed for 60 days, and the police continue to investigate additional incidents from the past year.
