'Song of Peace' and Arabic Medleys: Dozens Celebrate in Habima Square | Watch

Dozens celebrated in Tel Aviv's Habima Square following the election exit polls. C14 health reporter Yael Anker reported Arabic songs, curses, and an alleged bicycle hit-and-run attempt. One participant wore a keffiyeh, and others wore shirts of the Democrats party.

Dozens of people gathered to celebrate in Tel Aviv's Habima Square following the election exit polls, which showed the left-wing bloc parties leading by a small number of seats. The celebrations included Arabic songs, flag-waving, and entering the square's pool. C14 health reporter Yael Anker said participants sang 'Song of Peace' and were hugging, then played an Arabic medley and cursed her and the photographer. According to her, one of those present tried to run her over with his bicycle and told her, 'How can you be with this, we drank 14 seats from you.' The report notes that 'Song of Peace' recently sparked controversy due to its use at the Disengagement Festival in the south, held about 20 kilometers from the Re'im parking lot. In the center of the square, a participant was seen wrapped in a keffiyeh, alongside participants in shirts identified with the Democrats party and Yair Golan.
