During the program 'Seven with Shlezinger' on Channel 14, host Yehuda Shlezinger revealed that contrary to reports about contacts between Gadi Eisenkot and the Haredi parties, in practice no one has approached them with a concrete proposal. Shlezinger claimed that information he received indicates that so far no official conversation or approach has taken place. He raised the possibility that this is a media spin intended to pressure the Haredim, and described the idea that such contact currently exists as 'a completely absurd event'.
