Israeli forces arrest 21 Palestinians in Dura, convert home to military post

Israeli forces arrested 21 Palestinians in Dura, south of Hebron, and forced a family to evacuate their home in al-Burj village before converting it into a military post. Clashes and settler attacks were also reported across the West Bank.

Israeli settlers, backed by the occupation army, carried out a series of attacks in the West Bank, including firing tear gas and sound bombs at farmers in the town of Beit Anan northwest of Jerusalem, and burning two vehicles in Majdal Bani Fadil south of Nablus. The Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority reported that settlers carried out 1,369 attacks during October, an increase of 111.6% compared to September. Occupation forces arrested 21 citizens from the town of Dura southwest of Hebron, and the head of the Ein Yabrud village council, Luay Nawaf, and forced the Talhama family to evacuate their home in the village of Al-Burj and turn it into a military barracks. These practices are part of the escalation of Israeli military measures in the West Bank.
