Two people, including a foreign solidarity activist, were injured Wednesday evening in a settler assault in the village of al-Diyuk west of Jericho. The settlers seized eight homes in the village and remain inside them. In a related incident, settlers set fire to a vehicle and an agricultural room in the Hebron area. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its crews in Jericho treated two injuries and transported them to the hospital. Local sources said that settlers accompanied by their families broke into the eight homes and smashed their doors, noting that the homes were empty of their owners. Israeli occupation forces also stormed the city of Jericho and its camps and patrolled its streets. Farmer Mustafa Fahidat said that the presence of settlers in the homes restricted residents' movement and prevented them from reaching their agricultural lands.
