Senior Likud official: "We will not sit with Eisenkot, we will form a government based on the existing coalition"
Coalition chairman Ofir Katz said in an interview that Likud will not sit with Gadi Eisenkot and will form a government based on the existing coalition. Katz expressed concern about complacency among Likud voters and emphasized the need for Likud to be the largest party.
Coalition chairman Ofir Katz was interviewed on "Sofshavua" with Daniel Roth Avneri and said that Likud will not sit with Gadi Eisenkot and will form a government based on the existing coalition. Katz said, "We are currently in a tie, and unfortunately in our camp there is complacency and people feel they can vote for other parties." He described a tour he conducted in various cities, where he heard people saying "we are winning," which worried him and led him to speak with the prime minister. Katz emphasized that if Eisenkot is one seat above Likud, he will receive the mandate to form a government, so Likud must be the largest party.
