Sale of Channel "13Reshet" to Asaf Rapaport Group Approved

The Second Television and Radio Authority has approved the sale of Channel "13Reshet" to the group of Asaf Rapaport. Authority council chairman Mordechai Mordechai stated that the approval was granted after a comprehensive review of the buyers' commitments and the establishment of oversight and transparency mechanisms to ensure the channel's independence and integrity of its operations.

Authority council chairman Mordechai Mordechai stated that the approval was granted after a comprehensive review of the buyers' commitments. As part of the deal, oversight and transparency mechanisms were established, which, according to Mordechai, will ensure the channel's independence and the integrity of its operations. The deal marks a change of ownership for one of Israel's largest commercial television channels.
