Ronaldo may go from star at Al-Nassr to co-owner of the club!
Reports reveal that Cristiano Ronaldo has joined an investment group seeking to buy a controlling stake in Saudi club Al-Nassr from the Public Investment Fund, with each investor contributing around $100 million, a move that could transform his relationship with the club from player to co-owner.
Reports, citing Portuguese newspaper A Bola, have revealed that Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has joined an investment group seeking to buy a controlling stake in Saudi club Al-Nassr from the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF). The group includes five investors, among them Gerry Cardinale, owner of AC Milan, and three Saudi investors. Members are considering injecting around $100 million each. The process is still in the negotiation phase, with expected contacts and meetings with fund officials. If the deal goes through, Ronaldo would transition from being one of Al-Nassr's top stars to a co-ownership partner alongside his role as a player. The news comes at a time when previous reports indicated Ronaldo holds a stake in a Spanish club, reflecting his expanding investment activity.
