Ron Sherman's mother to government ministers and Lehavim council members: Do not come to my son's memorial

Maayan Sherman, the mother of fallen hostage Ron Sherman, published a post demanding that government ministers and representatives of the Lehavim council not attend the memorial marking three years since her son's death, following her protest against Minister Ben Gvir's visit to the community.

Maayan Sherman, the mother of Ron Sherman who was kidnapped and killed in Hamas captivity, published a post on social media demanding that government ministers and representatives of the local Lehavim council not attend the memorial marking three years since her son's death. The request comes days after she protested against the visit of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir to the community, expressing anger at the council for allowing the conference with his participation. In the post, Sherman attacked council members for allowing Ben Gvir to come, claiming the minister boasted about preventing Ron's return from captivity. In the invitation to the memorial, Sherman wrote: "Three years since the execution of our Ron Sherman, by Netanyahu and his government of massacre and draft dodgers."
