Sean Combs (P. Diddy), the rapper and music producer serving a sentence at the federal prison in New Jersey, was taken to a hospital over the past weekend with a head injury following a 'medical emergency', as reported by TMZ. The circumstances of the injury have not yet been clarified, but sources said Combs was conscious and speaking when he was returned to the detention facility in the night hours. Combs' representative told Page Six that they are aware of the reports and are working to verify the circumstances of the incident, adding that Sean's health and well-being are the immediate concern. The report comes against the backdrop of a previous exposure of Combs' 'pampered' living conditions in prison, according to which people cooked and cleaned for him, and he had access to a mobile phone, antidepressants, and alcoholic beverages. After his prison conditions made headlines, he was returned to a solitary cell and his release date was postponed from January 21, 2028 to March 2, 2028. Combs was convicted in July 2025 of two counts related to transporting people for prostitution and sentenced to 50 months in prison. The prosecution described him as 'unrepentant' and trying to blame the victims.
