The arrest was part of a widespread police governance operation in Jaffa, conducted against a backdrop of a series of severe violence and crime incidents in the city and amid conflicts between criminal elements. The operation involved Yassam officers from the Tel Aviv District, Jaffa station police, district dog handlers, and teams from the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality. Forces operated in several focal points, including against suspects involved in serious criminal offenses and against the use of electric scooters and bicycles for committing crimes. During the activity, two masked riders on a cloned scooter were also caught, a suspect who threw two bags of drugs, and two additional suspects who tried to flee to a container compound, where a search uncovered about 250 grams of drugs and ten ecstasy pills. Additionally, an electric bicycle rider was arrested, and a search of his possession revealed cannabis divided into bags for distribution. In summary, ten suspects were arrested, 38 electric vehicles were confiscated, and citations were issued for life-threatening traffic offenses.
