Petah Tikva residents have highest city services satisfaction

Petah Tikva residents report the highest satisfaction with municipal services among Israeli cities, according to a Central Bureau of Statistics survey. Rishon Lezion ranks second, Tel Aviv third. Ashdod, Haifa, and Bnei Brak have the lowest satisfaction levels. Overall, two-thirds of the population rated local authority performance as good or very good, with a gap between Jewish (69%) and Arab (53%) populations. Petah Tikva's satisfaction rate of 85% is a substantial increase from 61% a decade ago.

The survey found that two-thirds of the population rated the performance of their local authorities as "good" or "very good." A significant gap was observed between the Jewish population, 69% of whom are satisfied, and the Arab population, where only 53% gave positive ratings. Petah Tikva's satisfaction rate of 85% represents a substantial increase from 61% a decade ago. Rishon LeZion's 81% is up from 71% in 2015. Tel Aviv's 76% is a slight increase from 75% in 2015, when it topped the rankings. Beersheva followed with 72%, Netanya with 71%, Jerusalem with 70% among Jewish residents and 68% overall, Haifa and Bnei Brak with 56%, and Ashdod with 51%.
