IDF and Border Police forces are continuing a counter-terrorism operation in Hebron, under the command of the Judea Brigade. During the night, six wanted individuals were arrested in various villages in the sector, including Hamas operatives suspected of direct involvement in terrorist activity, planning attacks, and advancing terrorist infrastructure. The arrests were carried out by undercover Border Police officers from the Judea and Samaria region, based on intelligence from the Shin Bet. Concurrently, IDF soldiers located and confiscated numerous weapons in the city of Hebron, including an M16 rifle, knives, a vest, and a dummy pistol. The operation began following a clash last weekend in which two soldiers fell, Staff Sergeant Ron Yonatan Reutman and Sergeant Yuval Shai Soylem, and three others were wounded. The IDF emphasizes that forces will continue to operate proactively and offensively to thwart terrorism throughout the Judea and Samaria Division.
