Erin Foster, creator of the Netflix comedy 'Nobody Wants This,' has responded to comments from one of the show's stars, Adam Brody, about the Israel-Hamas conflict, saying she disagrees with his claims that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. In a recent interview with GQ, Brody said, 'Put me down as thinking it's a genocide. Put me down as wanting a free Palestine.' He did not specify what he meant by 'another administration.' Foster addressed the issue on an upcoming podcast episode, stating, 'I disagree with him, and that's OK.' She added, 'I think our work environment, our set, is very similar to dinner tables around the world where people are having debate and discussion and disagreeing.' Israel has strongly rejected accusations of genocide, saying it is fighting a terror group entrenched in civilian areas. Foster, who converted to Reform Judaism in 2019, said the show is a 'love letter to Judaism' and intentionally avoids the subject of Israel. Season three is currently streaming on Netflix.
