A New York federal court today (Tuesday) sentenced Israeli brothers Oren, Tal, and Alon Alexander, prominent real estate businessmen in the United States, to 30 years in prison for their involvement in a severe sex crimes case. The three were convicted of running a long-term conspiracy to traffic women and minors for sex. During the hearing, harrowing victim testimonies were heard: 11 women gave statements in court, and another woman requested that the prosecution read her statement on her behalf. One complainant testified that Tal Alexander raped her in the shower of his Hamptons home in 2014. Another complainant said she was raped at age 16 by Tal and Alon and two other men at a party in 2009. The brothers' lawyers requested a reduced sentence of 15 years, but the brothers deny their guilt and plan to appeal. The case began to gain public exposure in June 2024 following reports of civil lawsuits, and the three were subsequently arrested in December 2024.
