Former hostage Rom Breslavsky published an anguished post following the election exit polls, in which the Arab parties win 17 seats and Otzma Yehudit only 6. Breslavsky wrote: "That's not why I was released from Gaza."
Rom Breslavsky, a former hostage who returned from Hamas captivity in Gaza after 738 days, published an anguished post on social media after the exit poll results for the 26th Knesset were released. Breslavsky expressed a deep sense of fracture in light of the 17 seats the Arab parties received according to the polls, alongside only 6 seats for the Otzma Yehudit party. He wrote: "17 seats for the Arabs, 6 for Ben Gvir. I feel like crying, that's not why I was released from Gaza." The polls indicated an unprecedented surge by the Arab parties following exceptional voter turnout in the sector, alongside the weakening of Otzma Yehudit.
