Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today (Wednesday) at an officers' course graduation ceremony at Bahad 1 that Iran is again attempting to develop nuclear weapons. Netanyahu called Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the Supreme Leader, "the duty tyrant" and said he "released the safety catch" and Iran is again trying to develop "death bombs." According to Netanyahu, he instructed the defense establishment to topple the regime in Iran, and this is in his view the only way to remove the threat. Netanyahu quoted US President Donald Trump as saying that the US is ready "to finish the job" but only together with Israel. Netanyahu added that Israel will act against "the head of the octopus" and cut off its arms, and will eliminate Hamas and Hezbollah. The article notes that in an interview last week with Kan News, Netanyahu assessed that toppling the regime is not realistic before the elections.
