Prof. Yoskovich reported that his condition is stable but still life-threatening. His father, Israel's ambassador to the US Yehiel Leiter, landed in Israel and arrived at the hospital. His friend Elkana Ariel said Neria is "a friend everyone wants, all heart," and that the entire family is dedicated to giving and volunteering. Neria continued to serve in the reserves even after the fall of his older brother Moshe in the war, and even moved to a rear role in an elite unit before returning to combat service. His mother Hani said that after Moshe's fall, Neria gathered the family and helped everyone.
