Mysterious 'code' found in the Great Pyramid – scientists link it to the Moon

Independent researcher Sefi Levi has discovered numerical coincidences in the dimensions of the Great Pyramid that, according to his theory, may be linked to lunar cycles, astronomical periods, and ancient Egyptian beliefs about the creation of the world. Levi tested the theory on 100,000 computer models but acknowledges that the results do not prove intentional encoding of information. The work has not undergone independent scientific peer review.

Independent researcher Sefi Levi has proposed a hypothesis that the dimensions of the Great Pyramid of Giza contain numerical patterns related to astronomical cycles. Levi studied the height, base width, and face angle using mathematical fractions that he believes were known to ancient Egyptian scribes. One calculation yielded the number 27.5, which he links to the period of the Moon's passage through perigee (about 27.55 days). Another value — 70 — was matched to the period of Sirius's invisibility, which in ancient Egyptian tradition was associated with mummification. Also found were supposed correspondences with the cycles of Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, and Mars, as well as with the number π and the golden ratio. To test for randomness, Levi created a computer model of 100,000 hypothetical pyramids. About 2.4% of the models showed the same or greater number of coincidences. The researcher himself notes that the patterns were found after he knew the pyramid's dimensions, so the results do not prove intentional encoding. Levi also suggests that the pyramid's shape could symbolize the primordial Benben mound from Heliopolitan mythology, and puts forward a controversial hypothesis linking it to the 'Eye of the Sahara' — the Richat Structure in Mauritania. The work was published on the SSRN and Zenodo platforms but has not undergone independent peer review. The accepted version among Egyptologists is that the pyramid was built about 4,500 years ago as the burial complex of Pharaoh Khufu.
