After being shot, Jabarin was taken to a local clinic, from where he was evacuated by a Magen David Adom intensive care ambulance to HaEmek Medical Center in Afula while resuscitation efforts were performed, but his condition was critical and he arrived without vital signs. Doctors were forced to determine his death. Police forces called to the scene located the site and began examining the circumstances of the incident. At this stage, the background to the shooting or the identity of those involved has not yet been clarified.
