Three years after the October 7 massacre, an avenue was inaugurated today (Wednesday) in Paris's Parc Monceau in memory of Shiri, Ariel and Kfir Bibas, who were abducted from their home in Kibbutz Nir Oz during the Hamas attack and murdered in captivity. The ceremony was held in the presence of Paris Mayor Emmanuel Grégoire, representatives of the Representative Council of Jewish Institutions in France (CRIF), and representatives of other organizations. The Paris municipality noted that the Bibas family has become a global symbol in the struggle for the release of the hostages and the commemoration of the massacre's victims since October 7. Kfir Bibas, who was only nine months old at the time of his abduction, was the youngest hostage. The municipality emphasized that the public commemoration is intended to preserve the memory of Shiri, Ariel and Kfir and to strengthen the commitment to fighting antisemitism, racism, and all forms of discrimination. The tribute in Paris is part of a series of commemorative events worldwide marking three years since the October 7 massacre.
