Motorcyclist seriously injured in accident on Highway 1 near Ben Gurion Interchange
A motorcyclist, approximately 30 years old, was seriously injured in a collision with a vehicle on Highway 1 near the Ben Gurion Interchange. MDA teams evacuated him to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer while he was unconscious and suffering from a head injury. The female driver of the vehicle was treated at the scene and did not require evacuation.
A motorcyclist, approximately 30 years old, was seriously injured in a road accident on Highway 1, near the Ben Gurion Interchange. According to a report received at the MDA 101 emergency hotline in the Ayalon district at 21:21, the motorcyclist was hit by a vehicle and was found unconscious with severe injuries to his body and a head injury. MDA teams who arrived at the scene provided him with life-saving treatment and evacuated him in a mobile intensive care unit to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer in serious condition. The female driver of the vehicle involved in the accident was treated medically at the scene and did not require evacuation to the hospital. MDA medics Yishai Mor, Peniel Buskila, and Tal Sinai described the incident: "We saw the motorcyclist lying by the roadside, unconscious and suffering from severe injuries to his body, after being hit by a vehicle. We provided him with life-saving medical treatment and evacuated him in an MDA mobile intensive care unit to the hospital in serious condition."
