The Russian parliamentary elections entered their third and final day amid extensive Ukrainian drone attacks on Moscow and other areas in Russia. NATO countries have heightened their alert. On the ground front, a senior Ukrainian commander reported that Kyiv's forces launched an offensive operation in northern Donetsk region, an area that protects the routes toward Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. The forces cleared tens of square kilometers of Russian units and regained additional territory. Reuters noted it could not independently verify the claims. Ukrainian President Zelensky called for strengthening European defense at the "Carpathian Eight" summit he convened. In Poland, aircraft were put on alert following Russian attacks.
