Moni Moshonov and Sandra Sadeh will step into the shoes of Aviva and Keith Siegel in the new play

Sandra Sadeh and Moni Moshonov, a married couple, will portray former hostages Aviva and Keith Siegel in a staged reading of the play "Love at the End of the Tunnel." The first public reading will take place on October 6 at the Habima Theatre, one day before the third anniversary of the October 7 massacre. The play, by Michal Aharon, deals with the kidnapping, captivity, and the shared lives that were interrupted.

Sandra Sadeh and Moni Moshonov, a married couple known for their long careers in Israeli theatre and cinema, will portray former hostages Aviva and Keith Siegel in a staged reading of the play "Love at the End of the Tunnel." The first public reading will take place on October 6 at the Habima Theatre, one day before the third anniversary of the October 7 massacre. The play, written by Michal Aharon at the initiative of Eitan Schwartz, returns to the kidnapping of the Siegels from their home in Kfar Aza on the morning of October 7 and the period of captivity, but also to the lives that were there before: more than four decades of partnership, family, and shared lives that were abruptly cut short. The casting connects two couples who know long-term shared lives well. Aviva was released in the hostage deal in November 2023 after 51 days in captivity, while Keith remained in Gaza and was only released in February 2025 after 484 days. Their story has become one of the stories most identified with the struggle to return the hostages. The play will be directed by Ilil Semel, and Tal Balchrovitz will be responsible for the music and playing.
