Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared a Channel 14 video in which Osama Saadi, a senior Ta'al figure and former MK, dedicates the Joint List's electoral achievement to the residents of Gaza, Judea and Samaria, and "occupied Jerusalem," and blesses Palestinian prisoners. Netanyahu presented the remarks as a warning against forming a government that would rely on the Joint List, writing: "These are the people they want to form a dangerous government with. We will not let this happen!" The remarks were published against the backdrop of partial interim results, in which neither bloc holds a majority of 61 Knesset seats, and the Joint List and Ra'am may play a decisive role. Joint List chairman Yosef Jabareen signaled that his party is ready to act to oust Netanyahu's government, while Democrats chairman Yair Golan called for cooperation with the Arab parties. Saadi himself was placed in a symbolic slot and is not expected to enter the Knesset.
