MK Boaron: "I don't know if October 7 is the biggest failure - there was also Yom Kippur"

MK Avichai Boaron (Likud) gave an interview today to Radio 103FM, expressing great optimism ahead of the upcoming elections, relying on internal party polls. According to him, Likud will not drop below 30 seats, as has been the case since 2013, and will take steps to bring it to power. Boaron defended Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calling him "the man who led the State of Israel in its difficult hours." He addressed the October 7 disaster and said he does not know if it is the biggest failure, while mentioning the Yom Kippur War. Boaron also addressed the political conflict with Ofer Winter, claiming that in internal polls Winter does not pass the electoral threshold, only flirts with it. He added that in internal polls, Smotrich and Feiglin together pass the electoral threshold.
