MK Almog Cohen: "Whoever wants to sit with Hamas needs a padded room"

MK Almog Cohen (Yashar!) said in the studio of "HaYisraelim" that whoever wants to sit with Hamas supporters needs a padded room. He rejected the possibility of unity with the Arab parties, attacked the opposition, and called for forming a government based on the election results.

MK Almog Cohen (Yashar!) was interviewed this evening (Sunday) on the i24NEWS program "HaYisraelim" and spoke about the election results and the possibility of unity. When asked if he wants unity, he replied: "Even before the elections we already said our hand is extended for unity. The problem is that the extended hand does not meet a sister hand." Regarding the possibility of sitting in a government with the Arab parties, he said: "Whoever wants to sit with Hamas supporters needs a padded room." Cohen attacked those he calls "the exilic, the frightened, the submissive" who are willing to sit with Hamas supporters, and called on the change bloc to form a government with the alleged 67 seats. He emphasized that he does not want additional elections, and concluded by saying: "Either right or Palestine."
