Martyrs and wounded in a strike targeting displaced persons in Gaza
A child was martyred and others were injured on Tuesday morning in an Israeli strike targeting displaced persons in Gaza, coinciding with continued attacks despite the ceasefire agreement. A UN investigation committee confirmed that Israel is committing war crimes and crimes against humanity, including genocide.
A child was martyred and others were injured on Tuesday morning as Israeli attacks continued on various areas in the Gaza Strip, alongside artillery shelling, gunfire, house demolitions, and targeting of areas sheltering displaced persons. Medical sources at the Nasser Medical Complex reported the child's martyrdom, while Israeli tanks fired heavily in the al-Alam and al-Shakoush areas west of Rafah city in the southern Strip, coinciding with artillery shelling targeting areas north of Gaza. The Independent International Commission of Inquiry of the United Nations on the Occupied Palestinian Territory confirmed that Israel committed war crimes and crimes against humanity against Palestinians, including extermination, persecution, torture, rape, and other violations. The commission stated in a report submitted to the UN General Assembly that Israeli forces deliberately target Palestinian civilians and continue to commit acts it described as genocide in the Gaza Strip, even after the ceasefire agreement came into effect. These attacks continue amid accusations that Israel is violating the ceasefire agreement signed in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, on October 10, 2025, which stipulated ending the war and facilitating the entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip. Despite efforts to stabilize the truce and implement the agreement's phases, the attacks continue to cause casualties and exacerbate the suffering of Palestinians.
