Martyr and injuries in bombing of displaced persons' tents in central Gaza Strip

Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza continued for the 392nd day, with a bombing of displaced persons' tents in the center of the Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of Abd Waleed Matar and injuries to others, in addition to injuries in Deir al-Balah, Khan Younis, and Gaza.

Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip continued for the 392nd consecutive day, through a series of aerial and artillery attacks and demolition operations targeting homes and facilities in various areas of the Strip, including tents for the displaced and shelter centers. Medical sources reported the martyrdom of Abd Waleed Matar and injuries to others, following an Israeli drone strike on a tent sheltering displaced persons west of the town of al-Zawayda in the central Strip. Injuries were also recorded from another drone strike targeting a group of displaced persons near the Umm al-Ameera camp in the al-Baraka neighborhood south of Deir al-Balah. In the southern Strip, a man and a woman were injured by fire from Israeli army forces in the al-Satar and Hamad areas north of Khan Younis, according to medical sources at the Nasser Medical Complex. This coincided with artillery shelling targeting the southern areas of Khan Younis and gunfire from Israeli military vehicles, which also carried out demolition operations of Palestinian homes and facilities in the eastern areas of the city. In Gaza City, Israeli warplanes launched a raid on the al-Karama neighborhood northwest of the city, while the eastern areas were subjected to artillery shelling. These attacks come in the context of ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, which entered into force on October 10, 2025, under Arab and American mediation in the Egyptian city of Sharm el-Sheikh.
