LinkedIn released its 2026 ranking of the top 15 Israeli startups on Wednesday, with identity security firm Oak taking the top spot. Oak launched publicly in July with a $60 million seed investment led by Greylock Partners, Accel, and CRV. The company was co-founded by Shai Morag, who previously founded two cybersecurity firms acquired by Palo Alto Networks and Tenable, and Tal Marom. The ranking placed AI development firm doubleAI second, AI operating system developer Wonderful third, open software platform Kela Technologies fourth, and B2B cybersecurity firm Kela Technologies fifth. LinkedIn compiled the ranking using its own data across five metrics: employee growth, engagement, job interest, and attraction of top talent. Eligible companies were required to be no more than seven years old, privately held, fully independent, and have at least 30 employees. Startups that laid off 10% or more of their workforce during the measurement period were excluded.
