The Likud movement has filed a formal complaint with the Israel Police against Ronen Menlis, campaign manager for Gadi Eisenkot, on suspicion of violating election law. The complaint, filed through attorney Ilan Bombach, concerns a post shared by Menlis on his X account, from the Polymarket platform, indicating that Eisenkot has a 52% chance of becoming prime minister after the elections. According to Likud, the data was presented as an election poll without the required disclosure that it is not a scientific survey. Likud's attorneys emphasized that this is an alleged criminal offense, under aggravating circumstances and close to the elections, and demanded an urgent investigation.
