Liberman: "Either a crushing victory, or the destruction of the Third Temple"

Yisrael Beiteinu chairman, MK Avigdor Liberman, was interviewed this morning (Monday, September 28, 2026) by Aryeh Golan on "Kan Reshet Bet" and addressed the upcoming elections for the 26th Knesset. Liberman said that the opposition has a broad common denominator including the establishment of a state commission of inquiry and a two-term limit for the prime minister. He expressed confidence that the bloc will achieve more than 61 seats and a crushing victory, and warned that "it's either a crushing victory or the destruction of the Third Temple." Liberman attacked the current government for continuing its containment policy and concept. He added that since the war continues, the opposition is seeking common ground among those serving in the IDF, and promised that there will be no government with Arab or Haredi parties. Liberman noted that elections will soon be held in the Palestinian Authority, and that the US is already preparing plans for this.
