Less than three weeks to the elections: Trump in a series of endorsements for his candidates

U.S. President Donald Trump published a series of tweets expressing full support for Republican candidates ahead of the midterm elections. He called the Democratic Senate candidate in Texas, James Talarico, a "radical left vegan lunatic" and praised his Republican rival Ken Paxton as "the greatest in the state's history."

U.S. President Donald Trump published yesterday (Saturday) a series of tweets on his X account, expressing "full and total support" for Republican candidates, less than three weeks before the midterm elections on November 3. The prominent tweet concerned the Senate race in Texas, where Trump called Democratic candidate James Talarico a "radical left vegan lunatic" and described him as "the antithesis of Texas values." He defined his Republican rival, state Attorney General Ken Paxton, as "the greatest in its history." Paxton won the Republican primary in May with Trump's support, ending Senator John Cornyn's 25-year tenure. Trump also endorsed Senator Darlene Graham, Congressman Russell Fry, Zac Nunn, and Mike Rogers.
