Kremlin changed its strategy: expert speaks about Putin's new goal
Military expert Yevgeniy Dikiy stated that the Kremlin has changed its understanding of victory in the war against Ukraine. In his opinion, the Russian leadership no longer relies solely on advances at the front, but is betting on the destruction of Ukraine's rear and creating conditions under which the population will lose the desire to resist.
Military expert Yevgeniy Dikiy, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war and former company commander of the Aidar battalion, stated on Radio NV that the Kremlin has changed its strategy for victory in the war against Ukraine. According to him, the Russian leadership no longer considers front-line advances as the only path to victory. Now the focus is on destroying Ukraine's rear — strikes with missiles and drones on infrastructure, creating harsh living conditions for the population. Dikiy believes that the Kremlin hopes to provoke internal discontent in Ukraine, so that Ukrainians begin to demand from the authorities an end to resistance and capitulation. The expert emphasized that the Kremlin's new strategy excludes any compromises, even temporary ones, and is aimed precisely at breaking Ukraine's resistance through pressure on the civilian population.
